The place was pretty dim. I kinda liked the candles.
6 O'clock Train Spicy Fried Rice w/ Shrimp - $10
I was very tempted to get my usual (Drunken Noodles) but I decided at the last minute to try something new. I should have stuck with my original choice ;) I mean, the fried rice was good but it tasted almost like my family's fried rice. So it was nothing special for me. The rice was moist and decently flavored. It wasn't spicy at all though. I was expecting some spice. Ah well...
Basil Vegetarian Duck - $11
My friend's dish. I don't think she liked it. I ate a piece of the "duck" and didn't realized that it wasn't actually duck until she told me :) No wonder it tasted funny. I guess that's why it was called "Vegetarian Duck". Freakin tofu...
Overall, it was an okay dinner. Spice is a decent place for thai but nothing that I would crave for. I think that's mainly because there's a Spice by my work place and I've ordered take out quite a few times.
The End.
(that's how I end things when I don't have anything good to say)
